Maybe he's just taking longer to develop because of his height?
The guy can fight but that's about it. Might as well just offer Tyson $500k - willey101
past his prime.. I'd rather just go for George St. Pierre or Anderson Silva. |

If Kessel can turn Bozak into a 40 point center and JVR who hasn't played center in the NHL into a 60 point player what could he do with a consistant 40 plus player who has 5 years at center under his belt playing 2nd line minutes? - HuileHab
I'm terrible at word problems. |

Is that why you acquired John Scott? The next Chara? - willey101
No Scott is there to fight Chara because he chews up and spits out everyone else on our team or any other team for that matter. |

Is Bozak playing with 2 more or less 30 goal scorers?
How many other centers did that last season.
I know I know. - willey101
Im confused, Bozak wasn't playing with lupul and kessel was he? wasnt that grabo? And i am sure JVR will be centering those two this season not bozak.... and toronto isnt the only team to have a center playing with 2 30 goal scorers.... so really all i read was

It's a fight though. GSP sucks at fighting, he's a tremendous wrestler and grappler. So unless the players strip naked and fall onto the ice then GSP may not be useful |

Subban>>>Myers and that's not even debatable
Subban for Hall, 1st pick, conditional 5th round pick - Le_Moderateur
You're kidding, right? I like Subban, but there is no way in hell he's worth Hall AND a likely top-3 pick. Get your head out of your a$$. |

Yes, so it took Bozak 2 full seasons to equal Gagners point totals after him playing in the NHL for 5 years...I would say Bozak is doing pretty good...may even eclipse Gagner this year. - BoBBeR56
By point totals i assume you mean something other then the 220 pts to 106 pts.
And by doing pretty good I assume you mean playing with Kessel and not Gilbert Brule, Andrew Cogliano or Eric Belanger. |

JVR is not a center so I hope he centers Kessel and Lupul because that means yet another year of Leafs disappointment. Bozak didn't spend the year between them but I believe spent the majority of the year.
Grab usually got Kulemin as a winger I beleive. |

not a bad thought... IF we are talking bout just a one strike hopeful knock out then Tyson in his prime is the best eve.r.
but I would maybe go with Dos Santos or Velasquez then currently.. lol.

He is 6'1 175 pounds. And are you his personal physician that you know he is adding muscle everyday. By the time the league starts he will have added what 50 pounds of muscle? Plus I have never made up a trade scenario for any player so suck it. - Dwight K. Schrute
As a matter of fact I do know the Oilers off season training people very well and know the program they are all on. You see on a website when he was drafted that he is 6'1" 175 and think that is where he is still at. Plus, as others have pointed out...he is very much like Datsyuk. How big and tough is he again?? |

Toronto didn;t have 2 30 goal scorers between Lupul never hit 30. Finished with like 28 or something.
I think Montreal and Pittsburgh are the only 2? |

Dos Santos would work.
I imagine Scott plays 12-13 games this year and 5-7 mins per game.
Dude I would fight anyone for $500k for that much work. |

ah I live near Edmonton...they have no real pressure right now get serious. 30th place 30th place 29th place and you guys still love them and brag about how bright the future is, only way to build a team ect.
Can you imagine if the Leafs finished last, last, 2nd last. People would want heads to roll. Oilers give the GM and extension for picking the consensus #1 3 years in a row and doing nothing to improve the glaring weakness of the team - flashfire
you think people don't want to see their team win here? is it less than in say chicago? it's not bragging, i have not seen one person say "we are gonna own in 2 years" people say "we should be good in 2 years" and "we should be great in 5 years". The leafs finished second last and didn't even have the pick are you kidding me, then they lost out on dougie hamilton and last year they finished 5th last, people's heads aren't rolling there.
Oilers need defenseman.... they just signed the best young FA out there, and their organizational depth is best on D, there's help on the way |

even Gretzky was traded.
Leo is an accessory... its semantic... make it TJ Brennan instead? My point is that the Sabres, outside Myers, can give ANY 2 D in organization w/o significantly hurting our depth.
Ennis with the wing talent in EDM is easily capable of being a 70pt+ player... he is also a home town kid. RNH is going to be a 90pt player? How different are they REALLY?
Enroth and Dubnyk would compete to start and you would have at least a somewhat reliable duo then.
Again... RNH is a fine player... but he is being way over valued. - UBBob713
The Oilers have 11 NHL ready Dmen signed...Problem is that 7 of them are bottom pair guys. They are not trading for another bottom 6 Dman, which is most of what you have proposed. |
