To get a #1 center now is the only reason I see. There's no way it's gonna be RNH so if it's a center, it has to be Eberle. I can't see Buffalo getting another small center like Gagner. Plus we have to many young centers then so my guess is one of the G's would be going the other way.

Any Oiler fan that thinks Myers is going to be included in any deal needs to have their head examined ,"just saying" because that just is NOT going to happen.

Realistically the dman is one of 3.

It's either Sekera, Mcnabb or Pysyk .

The other player I firmly believe may in fact be Enroth.

Who is coming back is anyones guess.

Myers is not going anywhere unless Hopkins is included in any deal.

If Enroth is part of said deal I would expect the "Bulin wall" coming to the Sabres as part of the package.

Yeah, he is. Even if we only look at production, he's better. Then factor in 2-way play, faceoffs, and Gagner's experience and willingness to stand up for teammates, and it's mismatch. Potential-wise, they're pretty close. But let's face it; neither is a Tyler Bozak or Nazem Kadri

Enroth is better than any goalie on your current roster though.

I just re-read the article. a young star enter and a young 3rd liner with potential. so if the young third liner with star potential is gagner, the center would have to be RNH or Hall(converted). so... Hall, gagner, and khabibulin for enroth, myers, zemgus. works both ways!

There is absolutely no way that Tyler Myers will be a part of any deal, the Sabrea are too high on him and they would not have got on such a long term deal plus the bonus...he is long term

re-read it... top 6... edm has 4 top 6 players, hemsky, hall, eberle, and rnh. potentially another in yak. so one of those 5 along with a young talanted 3rd liner... that would have to be gagner. MPS hasn't proven he can be an anyliner yet so he doesn't count.

I think oil fans need to relax on RNH

RNH is good and has good potential but let's remember he played one season and was injured, his defense needs works, and he played on a line with a #1 overall in hall and a 80pt player in eberle, not saying RNH didn't deserve his PTs but he didn't have to work as much considering the talent of his line

I will respecfully disagree. Myers is great, but RNH will be a top 5 guy in this league for the next 10-15 years.

its probably erhoff for erberle. myers is buffalo's only RHD and has a great contract.

Edmonton might of loced grigorenko at the draft. but unfortunetly to my knoledge he cant be traded until hes finished 1 year of pro. and the nhl doesnt carry a player to be named later like baseball does. i could be completely wrong. i cant remember the last time a newly drafted player was traded in the same year as his draft year.

Malkin, Crosby, Giroux, Datsyuk, Stamkos, Perry, Sharp, Toews, Parise, Kopitar, Nash, Richards, Spezza, Sedins, and Ovie are all guys I would take over RNH.

Malkin, Crosby, Giroux, Stamkos, Sedin, Ovechkin, and Datsyuk are undoubtedly better and will be for years.
