re-read it... top 6... edm has 4 top 6 players, hemsky, hall, eberle, and rnh. potentially another in yak. so one of those 5 along with a young talanted 3rd liner... that would have to be gagner. MPS hasn't proven he can be an anyliner yet so he doesn't count.

Malkin, Crosby, Giroux, Datsyuk, Stamkos, Perry, Sharp, Toews, Parise, Kopitar, Nash, Richards, Spezza, Sedins, and Ovie are all guys I would take over RNH.

Malkin, Crosby, Giroux, Stamkos, Sedin, Ovechkin, and Datsyuk are undoubtedly better and will be for years.

He may be their 2nd line center, but that doesn't mean he has value as a top 6 forward. and dude? if the others arn't going anywhere, then a top d-man ain't coming back.

I highly doubt Myers is going anywhere... And I highly doubt that Edmonton will trade for any more D without one of Pekham, Sutton, Potter, going the other way.

And none of Buffalo's other D are even close to being worth one of the 4 young guns.

This I could buy. I wasn't thinking about another trade. I just can't see Darcy getting Gagner to put him on the roster. Though I can't really see the Ducks trading Getz and handicaping themselves at center. I think more of Stafford,Gagner, 2nd, for Ryan

Im not reading all the comments, so not sure if someone has mentioned something similar....

Tyler Myers is probably untouchable.....the sky is the limit for this guy...there is no D-man in the NHL with the size and skating combo this guy has...i hope he stays here for his entire career

I think oil fans need to relax on RNH

RNH is good and has good potential but let's remember he played one season and was injured, his defense needs works, and he played on a line with a #1 overall in hall and a 80pt player in eberle, not saying RNH didn't deserve his PTs but he didn't have to work as much considering the talent of his line

And what hockey do you watch? Vanek is worth every bit of Getzlaf. Cripes, he scored 11 goals and looked lethargic last season. As of right now I wouldn't trade Vanek for Getz in no way shape or form.

Whats up with all the Gagner talk? The guy is a below average 2nd line center. We already got 2 second line centers on our team, we dont need any more of them.
