Leo, Regehr and Pysyk. Honestly I could live with them gone. I would want good return.

-Leopold, good two way defender, smart, confident, knowledgeable, can score goals. Last year of his contract on a team with 10 d-men, 8 of which have newer deals. He's not getting resigned.

-Regehr did not play to his potential last year. Still solid PK guy, tough hitter and feared in the corners, but we can move on without.

- Pysyk they are saying a great skater and puck mover. One of our best prospects, but since he hasn't worn the uni yet, we can't miss him.
- Buffalo--Sabres

Yes, we won't miss Pysyk.....but we will regret trading away a good young D prospect. (Ask Atlanta who traded for Zhitnik giving Coburn to Philly).

Gagner could fit in a number of places in the lineup and give them more options, so I could see that. It would likely mean Myers is off the table, however.

Agreed about Myers. For Edm to get him would mean one of Hopkins Yakupov Hall or Eberle going the other way, which personally I wouldn't do. Nothing against Myers, just more that I wanna see what those 4 can do this year.

Gagner and Paajarvi have proven SLIGHTLY more than Bozak and Kadri, but I agree with you. Myers is not on the move, at least definitely not to Edmonton.

Sekera is a good solid defensemen but I don't think he is "significant" as termed by EK.

Poll every single GM of the NHL and ask them to choose Myers or Subban. When 30 GMs put an "x" next to Myers, you'll then realize that your own GM would trade them straight up for one another in a heartbeat.

From the loose descriptions Ek provided it may be something like

Gagner & Hartki for Enroth & Leopold (maybe Regehr)

Personaly, I don't see ths being a "major" deal and it really doesn't do much for Buffalo unless they feel they need another small 2nd line centre.

Umm why exactly isnt it debateable.. Im confused. Id take myers and thats looking from an outside view. Subban spent lots of time stapled to the bench because he couldnt follow direction, hes a mouthpiece who doesnt know when to reign it in(to the point where its embarrassing to his teammates), he hits but lacks the size to do much when his feet arent moving. I see them having similar offensive upside so where does subban pull away? Myers has a big contract which has effected his performance but subban will get fairly compareable money. Hall + a first is a non starter for either of these guys either way, tambellini is stupid , but not that stupid.

I don't know if that would get him, just what i would offer and nothing else, maybe buffalo throws in Leino. Except gagner is better than Bozak, and at least Paajarvi has tools to be a solid 3rd line player.
