I was messing around. But I doubt it would be 30-0 for Myers. - Le_Moderateur
IDK, I think it might. When his new contract kicks in it'll be a bargain compared to the crazy deals being given out. |

i'd probably accept the deal, grigs would be worth more if he wasn't passed on by 11 teams |

Not even close to being enough......
If Philly or any other team wants Subban they'll have to overpay. Montreal doesn"t have to trade Subban.
ANy deal from Philly starts with Brayden Shenn and Bourdon or Montreal hangs up.
Unless of course Philly wants to give up Giroux! - Mats Naslund
Why is an above average center prospect (Laughton), a kid who just led rookies in goals last year (Read), a solid D prospect who has had a fair amount of games on the big team, and a 1st rounder not enough for a guy who is probably getting tired of his organization and his value is alot based on potential? |

Ennis played 48 games and had 34 points...
What makes you think we would trade FOR Gagner who had 47 points in 75 games.
We have all the 2nd line centers we could need.
hodgson, Ennis, Girgensons, Grigorenko, or Ott are all BETTER THAN Gagner. |

edm and buffalo trade doesnt make much sense unless buffalo is giving back grigs. although gagner isnt that great the oilers have noooo one they can replace him with. I also dont think any of buffalos d that would be coming back would be an upgrade on what the oilers have. if you think myers is going to the oil for gagner your an idiot.... |

the deal i suggested or that Ek may be suggesting included paajarvi as well. Obviously Myers is worth more than just Gagner.
The price to acquire Myers isn't as great as it was 2 years ago, people need to realize that - Oil_Addict
And Oil fans need to realize that Gagner isn't nearly as good as you think he is...he had 47points last year, is undersized, and of those 47points, 8 came in ONE game...take one game out he gets 39 points in 74 games... |

Because he was a top draft choice, and Leafs fans expected the world out of an 18yr old, and he hasn't be able to continually produce consistantly at the NHL level, so people are saying he is a bust.
I for one do not want to trade Kadri UNLESS a big name is coming back. He has great hands and vision, just needs to put everything together, bulk up and play a better 2way game... - BoBBeR56
This.
Leafs fans are impatient, as you all know and dammit, we deserve to be!
but seriously though, I doubt you see his name thrown out in trades for scraps. It's always for impact players. Plus we're all still afflicted with the disease from the JFJ area of making trades without including roster players.
Kadri's got some maturing to do, but I watch him a lot on the Marlies and he's crazy talented, mean and likes to throw some pretty surprising hits. He's still just too fancy with the puck and our current managerial group isn't a fan of that kind of play. If he was in Detroits or Pittsburgs system, we'd see what he can really do. |

You're right. It might even be higher. You've got to realize he was injured this year. He's really notched up his physical play as well the past two seasons. |

Nope, but finishing 37th in scoring among Centers does. I'll explain in case you can't see this..
The top 30 in scoring would be your first line centers. Therefore, Gagner finished 7th in scoring among Second line centers. Now, based on the fact that there are 30 second lines in the league, and each needs a center, the average would be 15th. When considering this, 7th is above 15th, therefore he is above the average.
ABOVE AVERAGE SECOND LINE CENTER. Numbers don't lie. |

Enroth and Meyers for Horcoff and Hemsky - HuileHab
Even more disappointed when it doesn't happen.
But since it's a "significant" d-man from Buffalo, it can't be Sekera because that would be a "Sick" dman, |
