Thanks for this blog post. I like to hear these rumors from the other side. From the way you describe what's available in Edmonton, plus theirs and Buffalo's needs, your speculation makes sense. |

Ha ha ha...profs like that make me laugh...try to belittle students that are learning... - BoBBeR56
Yeah really... He spends 80% of every class telling us that we're stupid, and the world is incredibly unfair. He's been in the industry for over 30 years, so he should realize we're not at his level yet (in some ways anyway)... |

And Oilers' management are members of Mensa?
Wait, I know. They planned on being the league suckholes for the last decade so they could draft top prospects, and perhaps become relevant again in another 10 years.
What a plan!!! - Powerslave
League suckholes for the last decade? Pretty sure it was only 6 years ago that we won the western conference title, what exactly has buffalo done in the last decade? (frank) all, and I'm trying to think of when buffalo was ever relevant? Oh wait that's right, never |

Any deal for Myers will certainly involve one of Hall, Eberle or RNH. We dont want to give them up. Buffalo doesn't want to give up Myers. This is a non-issue. Ek is a tool. Clouts is looking for hits. Bieber is a fag, and I want to drink beer. - GuyLaDouche

Wierd post, he's fought guys like Francios Beauchimen and Jack Johnson and he's the model of consistancy, you can bascially pencil him in for .65PPG's every year. - Zombie
I bet he hasn't seen Gagner play a game in his life. |

And he goes a week without getting a point, then has an 8point game.
Beachemin and JJ are tough too, lol |

funny i remember an how estactic some of the Sabres fans were when he signed.... - Killbot460
yes the good old bandwagon fans loved the signing. but the logical and hockey informed sabres fans knew it was a terrible signing. guy can't skate, turns the puck over all the time, says he can play center then tells the coach he wants to go back to wing. the guys a joke. you dont sign a guy for that length of time, at that contract cap hit, for 1 good season for a guy that played on a line with Daniel "Playoff Money" Briere. Briere makes anyone he plays with look good. examples- Hecht had .70 pts per game playing on a line with daniel briere when briere was in buffalo. after briere left, since the 07-08 season hecht has averaged .49 points per game. villie leino: .32 points per game for his entire career not including 1 season. the season before his contract that he had his breakout year playing with briere. take away his 13 game stint with detroit in 08-09, he drops to .28 points per game. while playing with briere he had 53 points in 81 games. thats .65 points per game. leino is as crap as crap comes. and apparently regier thought this specific piece of crap was worth 4.5 million for 6 years. never thought i'd say this, but i woulda rather he kept tiny fragile time connolly |
