if only we had selected Del Zotto instead of Sbisa .. coulda woulda shoulda

..lets not rehash the Eminger debauchery, just say no bruh

- MrBigglesworth

Then they would of traded Del Zotto for Pronger instead of Sbisa, so what's the difference?

You don't light a good cigar with a gas lighter!

Use wooden matches!!!!

At least the initial plan to trade up to take Pickard didn't work out.

I'm on here late, but in terms of Colby Robak, what kind of cost would you expect? I'd be guessing a 2nd rounder or maybe a young forward and a later round pick.

He's an interesting kid. Fell off my radar a bit because they have brought him along so slowly.

What do you think of Alex Petrovic? Could he be had? I know he's more physical than Robak, and probably not as good a puck mover.

With a proper cigar lighter, that is probably true.

But if you use a cheap lighter or a flame thrower you can taste the gas.

It's an abomination, a crime against a premium ceegar!

I have, however, done it in a pinch.

that money goes into the owners pockets then? i mean the players are getting paid a salary why do they need MORE money
- 2Real

The Players are the product and the talent. They do the work. I don't begrudge them their salaries (unless they stop working). I don't go to the damn arena's to watch the owner's make money.

Here's an interesting tidbit. If the owners get their way and get the 24% in player salary reduction. Parise and Suter just signed 98M dollar deals. They lose right off the bat how much. 22M or so. So the deals become 76M dollar deals instead. Give or take.

My impulse is to defer this question to the man in black, however I will say the players sacrifice their health and well-being while making the owners rich, hell buy a player's jersey and the owner probably gets more of that money than the player himself.
- JoeRussomanno

they sign the contract to play they're compensated very well for their risks

also they know the risks playing hockey
