Unlike others who have to stroke their own egos or feel better about themselves by making others feel low, I have observed you just getting a genuine kick out pissing people off. The players did't get revenue sharing, they had a job that paid them a salary. The owners cried poor and got a salary cap that took the players from being salaried employees to being partners, with a guaranteed revenue split.

Under the old system, the players were making about 74% of the NHL's "hockey revenue" according to the the NHL owners. So the owners made the players "partners"

You say if you don't sign player x he won't have a job, but there are other leagues and other owners that will pay him what he wants. It's supply and demand, the owners just want to have their cake and eat it, too.

Optimum phrase right there. The NBA is void of big men, Bynum can dominate when he's into it and healthy, neither happen all that often.
