THe only thing I need to be true

- hubie

Last year he had like 44 hits in 14 games..

if my calculations are correct that accounts for 17% of the season last year.

So he averaged 3.14 (pi) in hits per game.. lets add this out... So in another 68 games he would have accumulated another 213.52 hits.

Grand total of 257 hits last season.

9th best in all of the NHL or 7th in all NHL.

Having the 3 line thing going has a lot of good. Especially when certain lines have better luck vs certain teams. I'm sure lindy has tried that to an extent in the past . ex: Mair line getting more time than the 1st line.

ehgahds!...the mair thing...

the only reason he got those kind of minutes over roy and the other suck-sister centers was because he actually laid it on the line...

the purse carriers only laid it on the line during a coach sale

3 lines is good and all but not one of them is a shut down line or anywhere near what Id call one. Closest I can think of would be like an Ott Kaleta yuck line

I have watched ALOT of Foligno's highlights from playing in the Juniors, Sudbury, and AHL...

I have watched some of Kassian as well..

I think that hands down... Foligno is a better leader, better scorer, and a more clean hitter.

I think Kassian could lay bigger and better hits but they weren't always clean.

I also think Foligno would beat Kassian in a fight.

I hope Foligno wears at least an "A" in the future. There is ALOT of competition.

Myers, Ehrhoff, Girgensons, McNabb, and Pysyk.. not to mention the vets.

i think foligno's bloodlines helped out alot...he got proper guidance from his dad...

kassian was a obnoxious know-it-all...turned out to be a poor pick

I think kassian's ceiling is a 3rd line agitator... (same as Kaleta's ceiling)

I see Foligno being a very gritty 2nd line winger and a very good PK guy in the future.

Well when they decide to start deciding games on who has the most hits and PIM's then I guess we will be ok.

I like Folignos physicality a lot, but id rather our players be on the ice scoring then in the box watching.

kassian may see no more than 4th line minutes on a poor team with size and potential keeping him in the league for a few years

remeber when Lucic said whos gonna do anything? WHen you have a guy like Foligno you have an answer.

Ill say this a million tiems if you hit and hit you wear down the other team when they are worn down your scorers pounch like Jackals.

I think Foligno has more captain potential than anyone on this roster. You can see it whenever he does an interveiw. Also observing him at dev camp it looks like he is well respected amoung the rookies. If he can back it up on the ice hell have a C on his chest in the future

don't be that tool guy... Foligno is what allows that line to play the way it does.. he is no chump at scoring either but he ACTUALLY is a two way player..

I sure hope so... I know I envision Foligno/Girgensons in the Fs group.. and Myers, McNabb, Pysyk, and Ehrhoff in the D corps.

I could care less if the team went out there carrying purses, wearing pink onesies, and didnt hit anyone all season if they won the cup. I like it, but dont need it.

I'd rather have my team scoring goals and winning games. I may be in the minority, but watching games in Boston where they are just roughing people up, and the Phili-Pit series albeit exciting, is not hockey to me.

(Insert banable statement here)

So you would prefer prior to last yeas? WHen they didnt hit and didnt win a cup?
Boston and Philly both in the cup so the fact you used those two teams is mind blowing. The sharks are the team you want and guess what they have as many cups and the womens us soccer team.

not to be a wiener but... YA DON"T F'N SAY!!!????

it would never happen... to win in the NHL now is to hit people in their mouth.. then score goals..

The Penguins, Capitals, and Flyers of this league who just try to outscore people didn't last too long.
