If I propose a trade that will put the team 13 cents over the cap, I will have someone who read the CBA 22 times saying no way.

Bill, where are the Flyers at currently with contracts? What number/amount do they have room left for to sign a player or 2 if they have to or to use in a trade deadline deal? I remember come trade deadline last year the biggest worry was we had no room to just ADD a contract because we would have to move a few players out. Think its a good idea with the uncertainty of the new CBA and how this team will play this season to just leave a few slots open to upgrade at the deadline if necessary instead of subtracting if you dont have to?

I'm not bill but he touched on this not too long ago, and if memory serves me well, I'm pretty sure the Flyers have room for two more contracts and can slide a couple guys like Cousins to juniors if they have to. Hope that helps.
