For a team building thru the draft the fact they fired trottier as player development coach and gave capuano as their NHL coach are bigger reasons as to why our prospects don't fully develop.

I don't blame Garth for the picks.

I think Nino, Bailey, and KO will be fine.

I just think people hold Strome very high... and he might make a good winger in the NHL. And probably very good on the powerplay.

But he won't be a high end centre.

Nino will be fine in the AHL.

Bailey is coming around... and KO needs to be a little come aggressive every game... not just here and there.

KO will probably play with JT, and Moulson... if he can't get up for that, then he has issues.

Yeah I agree, does anyone really know if he was a decent coach?

Wayne Gretzky couldn't coach. Usually a great coach is a average player who focused on the game inside-out fundamentally and mentally for he did not possess the talent to do well, he made up with it with smarts

not to make a joke but not all of the NYPD can be the NYPD finest... unless you have some sort of award or something she won.. but just because she joined the NYPD does not make her the finest... maybe one of New Yorks finest would be the appropriate statement there..

here we go again...oh for (frank)s sake why do i waste my time with this site...scouts love the kid..he needs more time..but paid hockey evaluators love the kid but he only has 3 points in an exhibition series and the kids a bust...i seriously think i need to stay away from this site until october...everybody is a (frank)ing expert

I'm sure he's a good player but they have Nelson and Lee as good center prospects. I think if you can get a "blue chip" power forward like Bobby Ryan, you put Strome in the package.

Just a stinger... he will be fine.

I don't think Strome sucks... but I think people are expecting a little too much out of him.

I watched him play alot this year. The Ice Dogs play 10 minutes from my house.

He will make a very good winger in the NHL, and also a great powerplay guy.

he has a ton of work to do..he was lost when he came to bport...hopefully it was just overwhelming going from college right to the playoffs...he has a lot to prove in the ahl this season and i think he will but anyone that thinks he will be pro ready after 20 games is kidding themselves

not...people talk without facts and sources...of course, asking for sources gets you laughed at....nothing has been written (that ive seen) indicating that he is injured.
