Your late 178. Someone here already posted that he's to small and weak. Nothing more than a perimeter player and relies on his team mates to much. Yea he sucks big time.

What was his name again?

- SCLI

Not sure, but it's a safe bet he was picked in the top 5.

Hey Chief! With all the talk this past little while about how Strome is nothing special and should be traded. I looked this article up. I dont know if you ever posted this. Its from one of your preferred (Credible) Hockey sites. It Profiles and ranks our top prospects. I found it informative. After reading this. If accurate. We may still be looking for a 1st pair "D" for the future to play beside Hamonic. If in fact he is a #1 or #2. And Lee maybe overrated by some fans.

not...people talk without facts and sources...of course, asking for sources gets you laughed at....nothing has been written (that ive seen) indicating that he is injured.

He was hit into the boards by Yakopov. When he first came off, the broadcast was saying that he might have seperated his shoulder. They later changed that to just a stinger, he'll be day to day

Didnt he already fulfill this yrs quota?

From Yote's Blogger. Adam French: Overall 9th Rank Russian Prospect

Andrei Pedan Defenseman (63rd Overall 2011) 19 Years Old, Guelph Storm OHL, Property of the New York Islanders

He’s a bit of a project, but his size and physicality will likely allow him to land a role in the NHL. At 19 he’s already 6’4 and 204lbs, and he loves to throw that weight around. After a rough first season in North America, he took huge leaps in the playoffs and translated that success into a great year for the Storm. While he is used often as a shutdown defenseman, he has untapped offensive potential that really came through with added responsibility last season. His speed is pretty decent for a player of his size, but he does have some issues with the speedier forwards in the league. His development is really interesting to watch and if the Isles can go slow and work on his erratic but very hard shot, he could be a big surprise.

Potential: 3-4 Defensive Defenseman
Comparable: Braydon Coburn

So, the possible (probable) lockout affects preseason games as well, correct? Which means the game in Brooklyn would be canceled?

Well, he is the right size for a good deman, these days. Skating is the key for the big guys...

Hopefully its just a matter of time.

When we drafted him. He stood out to me as a the kind of Prospect the Isles had been missing of late.

Not your typical Russian Player. I read that he enjoys the N. American style of Hockey and doest shy away from the rough stuff. In fact. He says he likes it.

I'm looking forward to seeing this kid play in a couple or three yrs time.

If you look at him. He's very slender. When he fills out. He's going to be a beast.

I agree.

I guess I could have found a better fight but I liked the fact that this video showed the big hit and his ability to defend himself.

And Not shy away from the confrontation, like many do.
