His overall numbers are stellar...just find the split to be a mild concern. They're locking him up for four of his UFA years, which is fantastic

Very good deal for the Habs...Patch has the goods and if he stays healthy could pot 40.

He could. He was one of their few bright spots last year.

You think hes worth that by what you've seen in his young career?

I think he's comparable to Yandle, when he came up for his last contract. He's got a ways to go in his all around game, for sure, but so did Yandle.

Subban has a ton of talent and in terms of physical tools he's got them all. Just needs a little maturity and he could be a beast

...If all of the options are out of reach financially then by all means bring back Carlo if he makes the most sense based on what is out there – just don’t complain when he misses time and the Blues are forced to deploy Jeff Woywitka.

Interesting take on Carlo. More interesting was the final comment about a former 2001 first round pick of the Flyers.

Their historic inability to corral and patiently groom a top two defenseman is simply mind numbing.

I remember first seeing him play and being very impressed, almost blown away with his skating. Dude can fly...has a good shot and one timer...I think he'd complement our current D corps pretty well. Not gonna happen unless things really sour futher there, but yeah, would love me some PK here.

Woywitka has been with 5 different teams now. Nobody else has been able to develop him either.
