Let's assume he is. Would you rather have Gagner or Statsny? I would like the additional size Statsny would bring but his salary is pretty hefty. I think Gagner has a ton of upside, but he is similar in stature to Ennis.

EDIT: Actually he is bigger than I thought. 5'11" 191 isn't bad.

My personal feeling is that gagner is leo/sekera and adam maybe a late mid round pick..

Stastny is stafford, a top d prospect of pysyk or mcnabb, and a pick (3rd rdish) or the likes of brennan/gerbe/adtl lower end roster player.

I personally like stastny and dislike gagner quite a bit so my opinion is biased.

Stastny is 1C material where as Gagner is a solid 2C and maybe untapped 1C but doubtful.

- They have been trying to get that #1 center
(Stastny) all summer, also looks like they are indeed looking at Edmonton's center's.

- Ennis is very overrated on this site. If Ennis gets u Bobby "Freakin" Ryan, u do it yesterday!

- Ryan 50/50 coming to Sabres.

- Sekera has been traded a 100 times!

- Pysyk or McNabb, who would you trade? Who brings more to the table for the future of the organization?

- the Sr's of this site, have become very frustrated with the non-sense going on and have stayed away let myself. (I respect many of you)

IMO this season does not happen, it's sad but I'am slowly starting to feel that more and more and it is the owners to blame. The differences they all see whats best for the league will not be solved quickly.

IMO The comish is largely to blame as well. This is what the 3rd lockout in 2 decades. Not a good track record.

Also to blame is his desire to put hockey teams in non self sustaining markets.
This is not a knock on the fans of those teams, because they do know there poop and i'm sure are passsionate for their teams, but there is just not enough of them to support a team.

Stastny would cost you a lot more then Gagner! I would say probly Vanek

Gagner- probly Leopold + Adam or something close to that!

me too but in all reality the owners really lost out from what they were barganing for and what they actually got. IMO the owners are the one's taking all the risks so they should get a bigger % than the players. yes i understand that w/o the players there is no NHL but same goes for the owners.

If the avs are going to trade away stastny, they would want to take back younger roster players and while Ennis is ok, I would demand A package deal with marcus Foligno
