The combo of Luongo and Schneider was a 100 overall rating for goalies for Couver in last years game.

Like myself seems the brain gets in the way of things. If you beleive your Dman is there to stop the ones around you and you can focus on the shooter you will do just fine. Think sometimes Miller doesnt trust some of the current d men.

I think i would side with Miller on that one.. there are times where you can tell Miller just expects something else to happen but the D does somethign different. A 2 on 1 is the simpliest thing there is, the d should know if he takes the pass or the shot while the goalie takes the other.. way too many times it seems like they are on a different page, could it be the youth of our D?

I do a lot of GM mode / simming and miller once got up to 95 overall somehow. I dont know how but after 2 seasons and 2 cups he became the best goalie in the game haha

that is how we got Miller... goalies are hard to draft, they do so much growing in that 18 to 22 range that makes it hard to tell which way they are going to go..

one reason why i want to hold on to Regher.. he may not be a top 4 anymore but he brings that vet presence for the youth we so desperately need.. would be nice to see him extend for a low contract value if he does alright this season

I remember this same thing being talked about last year.. with the injury turn over that Miller was very unsure and not confident in the folks in front of him. He said that he felt like he had to try to out guess and would get burned.

I mean at times last year it was a guy by the name of Finley infront of Miller.

I would still consider him that... every other HR king has been rounded up in steroid possibilities.

Lived 3 miles to the stadium. Was an Astro fan growing up but when its in the city you live in hard to not start to like them. Great ball park.
