2005/08/12 Re-signed as a restricted free agent by the New Jersey Devils to a one-year contract.
2005/07/31 New Jersey Devils tendered a qualifying offer.
2004/10/25 NHL lockout: Signed with the Alaska Aces (ECHL).
2004/08/10 Re-signed by the New Jersey Devils to a one-year contract.

why would he have signed a new contract in 2005 if his 2004 contract was going to be honoured?

I said I believe as in I wasn't sure.

I'm still not sure. Seems to me there would have been a hell of a lot of UFA's that next season and I don't recall that.

Could be though.

Exactly. It's called "discrimination".
- Pecafan Fan

Actually, in the case of a private club like Augusta National, it doesn't fall under the definition of discrimination that the constitution protects.

What's with night clubs discriminating against under 18 yr olds?

Why can't kids go to a night club and just dance, no one says they have to drink.

Actually, in the case of a dumbass like stormey, it doesn't fall under the definition of correct behaviour that the CoC protects, so I ban him whenever I want..

Well, whether he does or does not, the law is still what it is. They are not a public institution and thus, they make their own rules. Now, it could have negative effects on business to have these types of rules, but either way they are not precluded from making them. It's kind of like on HB, when people complain about their first amendment rights. Those aren't protected here.

Could very well be. They also had a change of leadership, and so that is sometimes the impetus for such philosophical changes.

I dare you to do one of the following:

1. Post something that any of us understand
2. Post something we understand and can relate to
3. Post something of value

Have a nice day.
