Canada has a pretty well established history of voting one way provincially, and another way federally. It's as though nobody wants to "put all their political eggs in one basket".

(frank) no. The kid is a piece of poop and the worst defenceman to ever play in the WHL. I am so sad that the Oil Kings won't have Pysyk to cover his ass every game all game this year. He's terrible.

One of my favourite moments from the Oil Kings season was when he was running away scared from some dude, then the linesman got between and he became tough until the other guy female dog slapped him and he dropped like a bag of Richards.

That's the way it's been for a LONG time. The trouble is, it took several elections for that "good guy they would love to have lunch with" to gain enough momentum to make a difference at the polls.
