Kia Soul - The New Face Of Ugly


Occasionally I'll see a car that makes me sit up and cringe. Today I have a new name to add to the stable of fugly: The Kia Soul.

While this picture doesn't entirely do it justice, seeing it meander past in bile-barf metallic green does (actually the color is called "alien").

Once I got past the initial gagging I squinted hard to see which manufacturer was responsible for this monstrosity of style. Kia. Kia? They're usually pretty tame, blending in with the whole sedan, minivan look of Toyota, Nissan, Honda, and the upper/lower end alternative brands (Lexus, Infinity, etc.) So yeah I'm kinda surprised.

I'm pretty certain that Kia knows how unappealing their baby is because of its name. Calling it the Soul is a dead give away. But anyone who buys one will need more fortitude than soul because of the poop they're going to take for driving something this ugly.
