I was just funnin witcha Pete. I dont get the DD hate, i just dont, he will never be a superstar IMO, and is a small player, but if he keeps on putting up 60-70 pts a season and isnt making more than 3.5 a year, im good with that....

Good for Pacs for the new deal, I like the fact they don't wait until some guys become RFA before they extend them.

I'd suspect that in two years, Phaneuf will still be a defensive liability. Probably moreso in fact.
