Luongo will be the #1 guy again.

Edit:

It could very well be Price. And as much as I like Price, he isn't good enough for that role as of today.

is there really another option? Fleury is not one. Smith would have to be stellar for 2 years. None of the rookies are close yet...

I think Smith will be there. I don't know if Ward will still be looked at that way, and I don't know that Luongo will either.

One very important name that you omitted from this list and I would take before most of the names mentioned ... PK Subban, stellar Habs defefseman great puck mover, won a gold with the Juniors , need I say more ??? a huge mistake on your part sir , as for Phaneuf . please we dont need no pylons , nuff said ... :thumbsup

Yeah, I saw that. PK is 22, so he has time to make the Olympics after 2014, assuming pros keep playing in them.

Thing is, regardless of the above nonsense, or anything else to do with PK Subban, or any other Canadian defenseman, Dion Phaneuf will still be a defensive liability, and will not be selected to the final team.

I never realized that he gave the puck away in the neutral zone to begin with. That's an olympic play all around right there.
Then again, he WAS being harassed by the Habs #1 prospect, Louis Leblanc.
