tell him he will be evaluated throughout the season and may still get a tryout call, no need to crush his spirits this close to his amazing 4 game series.

I think there will be room for him there, but we'll see. I also really liked that Monahan kid. Probably is going to be a high pick at the next draft.

Phaneuf is a left, but had to play right alot. not to mention 22-25 mintes a game against all the other teams best forwards, play the PP, PK, 12 goals, 40 pts. and answer all the dumb media questions. He may not be on the team, but will get consideration. He gets s*it on alot because he is in everyones face every shift, so it makes him unpopular with fellow NHLPA "brothers".

Phaneuf is a good hockey player and Calgary misses him.

He was really good. Hudon has a shot because guys like Scheifele and Huberdeau could very well be in the NHL.

Lock-out really helps the junior age players. They get the extra time to develop and play for the WJC.
