It's amazing how low fans standards have fallen.

Yeah but I'm not a center so it's irrelevant.

I only think it's unfair that to earn a place on this team, Desharnais should get past 60 points when we are more patient with other players who have had more chances and less results.

I mean, yes, Pacioretty and Cole helped him get 60 points, but has anyone thought maybe they wouldn't have scored 30 goals without him?

But then, all his career he had to prove himself more than others. He's like a woman in the labour market.

no one likes to mention that Cole--who's spent a good chunk of his career playing with Staal and Brind'Amour--had a career season playing with DD.

Has he ever not played on a teams top 2 lines?

He played with Max in the A, who did he get to play with in Junior?

- HuileHab

Seriously, I shouldn't answer to that.

MAYBE he played in the top-6 because he had top-6 talent? No, that would be far too convenient.

59 in 60 and 61 in 71 are his career years,

but last year is his best year since his broken neck.

I don't really like to mention it, but Stormey told me that Cole--who's spent a good chunk of his career playing with Staal and Brind'Amour--had a career season playing with DD.

Guys guys guys... Stop looking at his size or the players he plays with.
Look what he does with the puck!
He's by far our best playmaker and passer.

Would I prefer him to be 6'2 200lbs?
Of course I would, but that won't happen...

Then what has he had to battle through and prove to people more then others? He's always been on a teams top 6 and played with the teams top players but you talk like he is Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier.

Plekanec has had to battle up through the ranks more then DD has and he still hasn't had 2 good wingers.

Please tell me when did Plekanec play in the ECHL before getting a shot in the AHL.
