Pressure is on Mr. Reid this year. - stveshdy
After what happened with his son, he won't be getting fired after this season regardless. |

The Iggles won't win five games this year. Vick is going to be carted off sometime in the near future, the offensive line doesn't know how to protect him at all.
I can't believe the love affair with Vick--contrast that with how poorly Bryz has been treated by this city, it amazes me. You'd think Vick had won five super bowls and participated in a coronation as the next Pope, while Bryz kicks puppies and makes three-year-olds cry by dumping their ice cream sandwich in the garbage can. |

Michal Neuvirth apparently had some choice words for teammates and former coach Dale Hunter during an interview with iSportz.cz. When he spoke about team captain Alex Ovechkin he said, "he isn't what he used to be, that's for sure" and "if a team like ours wants to have a chance in Stanley Cup, we need Ovi to be the best." Neuvirth also questioned former Washington winger Alexander Semin's work ethic and said he was glad that Hunter wouldn't be around anymore. There's probably going to be some damage control, which isn't uncommon for translated interviews, but nothing he said went too far despite his candidness and he was largely complimentary of Ovechkin and Semin despite those remarks.

These peanut allergies are in abundance. I remember as a kid being able to bring a PB&J sandwich to school, nowadays kids can't bring any peanut related products to school. - PLindbergh31

I remember seeing him on the sideline next to akers looking small. If anyone has a pic of those two standing next to each other I'd like to see it because if memory serves me well Vick dwarfed next to Akers. - JoeRussomanno

I don't get it. Where did these peanut allergies come from? I guess that is a question for an allergist. |

cheeze and crackers, I missed that last night wow. It's preseason and they have this going on? Gonna be a long season for the Eagles. - JoeRussomanno
Defense is in shambles. Jarrett is terrible, Ryans looks like Cheney, and the D line is too spread out. |

If I could actually sustain a jog for more than 20 yards I think it might not matter what I eat, oh well. - JoeRussomanno
I love cooking so thats what does me in. Sunday night I made pao de queijo (brazilian cheese bread balls) and ate about 12 of them. My favorite!

Not sure. Has to be the way that food is being processed today. |

Good question, I had peanut butter for lunch everyday in grade school. How these allergies are so ubiquitous is beyond me, but apparently a lot of them are very severe. |

They just look like they are lost out on defense. They have some talent but cant get it all together. |

They really are. I see stories a fair amount of people dying (mostly kids) from eating something they didn't realize contained a peanut based product. It's scary. |

Only difference is Bryzgalov won a Cup as a backup for another franchise. - PLindbergh31
He was also the primary starter in 2005-06 when the Ducks reached the Conference Final, which is as far as the Rangers have gotten with Lundqvist. |

Hmmm... Good question. That I'm not sure of.
I made a joke about the dude jumping off the bridge yesterday and a few people got their feathers ruffled.
Nowhere near as insensitive as Bobby Clarke saying "It's not our fault he got cancer" (referring to Roger Nielsen.) Clarke should have been fired for those comments. |

It used to be extremely common -- less so today, but still not uncommon -- for European players to speak their minds very candidly with their home media because they knew there was little to no chance of the comments coming back on them in North America.

Thats the world today. Sensitive. Not talking about death but just in everyday life. Have to watch everything you say today b/c people are looking to make a quick buck. |
