Sutter is young and improving. Michalek was a poor skater and overated IMO.He also picked up a very good prospect from Carolina defensively. Shero has done well again and we still have cap room for the end of season deadline. In Shero we trust. |

"@Buccigross: Was told tongiht that Buffalo''s four year, 30 million dollar offer to Shane Doan is legit. Coyotes only want to go two years for now."
It is mind boggling that a team would fork over that much money and term for Doan. |

You wonder why there is a lockout looming, this is your answer.
I hope nobody complains about Neal's 5M (not that there are many that do).
We have a younger Doan in Chris Kunitz. Same production and grit. |

We got Neal AND Kunitz for a little over a million more per season than Buffalo is willing to pay Doan.
Doan would be making as much money as Steven Stamkos |

Did anyone else the those joke ratings. They have ovechkin a higher overall than malkin and stamkos and Paul Martin is an 85.... what did those guys at ea see 1 game last year he's trash. James Neal is only an 84 what the heck are they doing over there at ea. They also ranked Kennedy and Dupuis the same when I don't think there is any question dupuis is better. Great game every year but the ratings are always trash. |

84 is an OK rating for Neal. Sniper.
Malkin should have a 92 rating along with Crosby. Ovechkin an 89 alongside Backstrom.
Martin would deserve an 80 and that's about it. His value is as low as it will get. |

Yeah... maybe even a little more on the open market or for a short term (I could see $6 mil for 2 seasons for the right team), but 4 yrs at $7.5 is downright comical. |

EA Sports spelled Brandon Sutter's name wrong(looks like he has the same stats as Richie Peverley):
Tied with the Penguins in everything (overall):
How the hell is Ovechkin higher than Malkin?
Asham on the second line?lmao
Pretty solid TOP 9 for the Bruins:

Here is an ecellent summary and analysis of our current Pens prospects. It includes many comments by current Pens coaching staff which gives it more validity.
http://bleacherreport.com...paign=pittsburgh-penguins - powerhouse
Very nice find. I'd yet to see many prospect write-up w/ Dumoulin, Matta, and Pouliot all worked in.
My thoughts:
(1) Man, we have a lot of Dmen propects...The top 3 are D and 6 of the top 8. And all are rated as 7.0/10.0 or higher. Nice problem to have.
(2) Would have thought Khunhackel would be in front of Hanowski. Khunhackel is younger than Hanowski by two years, yet at the same general skill level.
(3) If you look at the prior year's prospect rankings, you'll see that the Pens added three new ones (Pouliout, Matta, and Dumoulin) in the top 6 this offseason. That's a lot of high-end talent for an organization that made the playoffs this past year to add. Usually you only are able to do that if you suck & get a few v. high draft picks. |

Don't confuse video game rankings with real life. Ovechkin deserves to be rated extremely high in a video game. Unreal shot, good speed, good to great checking. He can't take shifts off or not back check if you are controlling him. Kennedy doesn't have to take a bad angle shot unless you want him to.
Wayne Gretzky was not a good video game player.
Raw skill translates to video games. Players who get by on smarts are not as effective because the people using them aren't as smart as the player. |

Letang/Keith both have a 90 rating. Shea Weber 89. Chara 92-93.
Are you serious about Gretzky not being a good video game player. Anyway, I would never take him on fantasy drafts. I won a competion on my house at university. There were 15 teams and won it all with a US line of forwards:
Amonte - Modano - Roenick (Weight as a replacement)
Blake - Sydor (K.Hatcher replacement maybe?)
It was in 1998... |

The three most important things in a video game IMO:
Speed, shot, checking.
Gretzky was not excellent in any of those regards as it pertained to video games.
For my money the best video game player of all time was Fedorov. Ovechkin will give him a run for his money. Roenick was also pretty good. |

Roenick was my favorite! I would have to take Modano because he was so good all around as well...too many people would take him. Amonte had speed and sniper type of play. Great compliment. |

Jagr was right up there too in his prime. He lacked checking like Federov, but speed and shot made up for it as well as his puck control. |
