Considering all the push me pull you crapola he had to deal with he deserved some fun. He'll be getting great coaching this season! - bodiva88
He has three full time coaches this season. A head coach, an offensive coach and a D coach. It's a big change from the ragged mess we escaped.
He had his first preseason game last week. They don't know him, only from practice, so he played part time on the third line with a five man rotation. He had 3 goals and 2 assists. You'd have been proud. I think they know him now.

Switch him to defense. The Flyers will pass up on drafting him when he gets eligible.

Saw that on the Rangers board.
I guess for a franchise like that, you got to keep your young talent regardless of cost.
Otherwise, no chance for future success.
Seems like a little trend now to lock up young players for a while. |

They wanted him to play Defense for the Minutemen in Oaks but he turned them down to stay at forward. |

Everyone's trying to get them over the 5 yrs. I'm sure they are figuring on a salary roll back.Hartnell might not make what he made per season in the prior contract if the owners get their way. |

Classic example of a guy getting paid for what they think he will do instead of what he's done. I think Hall lives up to this contract. I would be shocked if he doesn't. |

Mildly surprising, but after the Skinner extension, not really unexpected. Hall, RNH and the young talent on that team will be terrifying in a few years. |

I bet they wish they could do the same with the rest of them. All they need to do is lure a goalie and some decent D and they're good to go. The Wings, Sharks and Canucks are on the way down, Calgary, Dallas and Anaheim are already there. They should be in the mix this season I think. |

Dubnyk still has potential. They could use a solid veteran defenseman or two, and a guy like Max Talbot up front. |

I'll take that bet. No chance of happening (NHL). |
