remember the whole thing with the broken fridge, anyway my dad asked me if I changed it before my vacation. I said it was empty anyway and I'd take care of it when I got back.

when I did get back I opened the garage door and saw a new fridge in there with a little card from my folks wishing us a happy wedding anniversary.

my wife wondered why the first thing I said was "great, howard will never let me live it down"

yeah burgers i've never had an issue with. steaks were just really, really tough. there is just no fat on those things i guess. and they werent cheap. 3 tseaks were $35.
