I'm not a Union guy at all, but for (frank) sakes, if these idiots (owners), can't stick to their word, (frank)'em.

It really looks like the owners are divided on alot of subjects.

The long term contracts given in the last few weeks were mainly by teams who are in the top 10 in the league moneywise. Except Weber but you can blame Philly for that.

Bettman is trying to get a system that will help out the lower third of the team revenue wise... and the rich teams are not helping him by giving away big contracts with long terms.

this is very frustrating. Especially since they haven't talked for a week before this ridiculous one hour meeting.

What I find funny is that bunch of NHL players standing behind Donald Fehr when he speaks to the media. Their absent look, and the drool at the corner of their mouths tell me they have no (frank)ing idea what's going on.

The owners are business as usual, if they win the CBA and the salary cap drops to what it was in 2006 like they want, they will get a rollback in salaries.
If the players win and the cap stays the way it is, then no big deal.

No player is going to sign a deal right now based on what the owners want in the new cba.
