Yea, my Fiance knows full well that it goes Hockey, Her, then everything else..
Well not really, but you get the point.
She is a huge Flyers fan.. which I take partial credit for. She was a casual fan prior to us dating, but since I havnt missed a single game since the last lockout she had no choice but to start watching more.
Ill never forget one of the first times we talked about hockey.
She was saying she was a huge Flyers fan (blah blah blah) trying to get me interested in her. She didnt even need to talk, I was already fawning. Anywho.. I said to her, "Name 5 players". She got so pissed. " I dont need to name anybody, Ive been watching for years (blah blah blah)"
Last season I over heard her arguing with a buddy of mine. He was talking big and what not, he said he was a huge Flyers fan, and they sorta had a pissing match over it.
She says "Name 5 Flyers, not name Danny Briere or Claude Giroux". I quietly nodded in approval and patted myself on the back. - jak521
When I started dating my wife I would ask her who Wayne Gretzky played for. Took her three years to get it right and remember it.
My real life personality and Da Man are fairly different...but no comment.
And while my wife isnt a hockey fan she is great. But that isnt fun to joke about on here.
I do watch replays, dvr, offer to watch the kids while the game is on the background....whatever it takes - Daman
first time around...i had the one that said, i didn't sign up for that...i told her that she didn't pay attention from the beginning. Plus i have a Flyers Tat on my ankle, that should've been a BIG CLUE. anyway...I have a wonderful woman in my life now and it's great. Sport R Us!!!
it's quite simple, take care everything you need to take care of before game time. Plus, before the relationship gets serious, both of you should know each other's interests. So, no one will be blindsided when you want to sit down to watch a game and she goes upstairs to watch the Hallmark channel. No flowers needed. - phi1671
I love the Hallmark Channel. It's like going to a high school reunion. There are all the fringe actors and actresses I grew up watching and I get to see what they're doing now.

I did exactly that but it all changes once you get married. They still find a way to complain about something.
Initial thought/hope was that this post was about Bryzgalov. - bradleyc4
Rather have Bryz than Leighton, even with the offensive contract. It's an irrational mental thing with me. I realize it doesn't make sense, and isn't logical. But I can't forgive him for giving up that soft goal, and then for lying about his injury. Just really don't ever want to see him in a Flyers uniform again.

My wife won't watch that with me either.

i actually caught myself watching some of the sapping sh!t with my daughter...
Because I'm in Philly in months where the Flyers have a heavy concentration of home games but in Texas in months where the Flyers are mostly on the road, I have to rely on my Game Center in the months when I'm away. Nothing is more aggravating than a blacked-out game I want to see -- which is also not necessarily available on TV -- on a service I'm paying for.
On those nights, I do use the Sportlemon site to catch the Flyers broadcast, since it's my only way to see the game. - bmeltzer
Sling box.....you can legally watch anything on your home tv ....anywhere in the world
made a super lame flyers vid about potential lockout.
(sorry for shaky cellphone cam)

Really???? Bobby Clarke and Bernie Parent, then you move to Primeau... Primeau?
That must have been from the playoff season when he scored a point. Otherwise, nice outline on the cut out.
You don't think the wrestler Kane actually sets people on fire outside of work, or that Anthony Hopkins cuts people's head open and eats their brains in real life?
