remind me to feed my dogs when you leave, that's when they get dinner. - Big_Lightnin
I'm in the process of switching my Bernese Mountain Dog from puppy(IAMS Smartpuppy large breed) over to adult (IAMS Adult large breed) since she is 1 1/2 yrs old 80 lbs....I have to buy and feed her 2 types of food for the time being with a gradual ween/switch...her increased energy with just 25% adult food is f23king scary |

usually around 3:45 the older one just goes and sits on his mat and waits. But they were outside playing so he's all tired now and doesn't know he's missing dinner
Puppy's hanging out in the kitchen cause she knows something's supposed to happen. |

The Players’ propose that they partner with the high-income teams to provide targeted funding for the distressed teams and owners. But the players won’t and shouldn’t have to do this alone. The higher income teams need to share far more with the lower revenue teams. The Players will do their part; will the owners?
this is ridiculous, if it is a partnership between the players and the NHL how come it's only the owners that lose money?
does the higher earning players revenue share with the 4th liners? - bobbyisno1

And what happens if the losses exceeded the amount allocated to escrow? Not much on the players side. I see what you're saying in that the players do bear some risk, but it is a mitigated risk in that there is a limitation to how much they can lose. |

Depends on the risk I guess...the biggest risk is being laid off, which let's be honest, is a lot worse than losing 15% to escrow. |

false. Millen is the worst ever, and Bowen isn't even close to Edwards or Jennerette or the Penguins guy. |

Why should the players be taking any risk at all? (frank) the owners. You signed them to their contract in good faith, pay them. Why are they rolling their salaries back cause the owners cant get their poop together? If your boss said that poop to you, that he wanted to take 35% of your wages, you'd tell him to go (frank) himself .... and so should the players. |

The player also run that risk as well..... lockout, waivers, buyouts ect.
I saw a post the other day complaining about the players wanting 57% and that in no other industry do the workers get 57%. So far of base. Comparing manufacturing to sports?? really? Considering that in a manufacturing setting the largest % of expenses is Materials, followed by overhead and then wages/salaries. If you take manufacturing cost% of those inputs, I'd bet that it isn't far off. If you think of the players as the materials (Manufacturing comparison) the players or in this comparison "the materials" are actually getting less % than in a normal manufacturing setting. What % of revenue do service based businesses such as lawyers/real-estate/Doctors/ get paid?? Probably closer to 57% than 43%. |

Chicken or the egg...did they players make NHL into the brand that it is, or did good business sense of the NHL create a stage for these players to be worth what they are? Why didn't the WHA kick the NHL's ass when they were stealing NHLers and had guys like Gretzky in the wings? Why don't the players just go play for money in Russia for the KHL? |
