can't see this lockout going too long. NHL has too much momentum that's been built up over the past few years. they won't risk all that growth. not to mention, i have a hard time believing the Canadian owners are down with this lockout when the CDN dollar is worth more than the USD. i just can't see the owners staying unified. i mean, MLSE, Geoff Molson, Eugene Melnyk, etc., these guys are gonna sit there quietly so that the NHL can continue to float the Phoenix Coyotes, Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators?

it's all good if they cancel hockey. as long as cbc and tsn air a rerun of the 2010 season. he habs were so exciting for 15 minutes back then.

bergevin is an idiot for not re-upping subban. therrien is a cancer. this uber francophone experiment is just too at the other end of the spectrum. molson has alot of learning to do.

no pain whatsoever, petrov. you're only feeling pain if your team has a chance at winning the cup. fans of the other 25 teams could care less. there's baseball., football, cfl....that'll keep us going until february. by then, spring will be on the horizon.

No he did not. Here is a list of some reasons.

- terrible stadium location
- people in montreal did not give a (frank) about them
- owner(s) did not want to spend money

and at the end of there run no one from Montreal no one from Quebec and no one from Canada wanted to buy them. So why should the league keep a team in place where nobody wants to keep them there?

Maybe not. But having the best record at some point in the season doesn't mean they would have won.

I think a new stadium would have been built.
