I dunno. I see many things wrong with them... even though as much as I want to see them succeed... I can't help but see many flaws.
Location... yeah, it's right beside the tower and makes for a defining city skyline/photo op, but it can be a cluster(frank) for families around the GTA to park/attend there.
Attendance... since they have been sucking longer than the Leafs, noone care, ergo, noone goes anymore.
Spending... we all know Toronto has money up their yinyang so they could buy a championship at anytime... but they wont. - Tee-Dot

Kinda funny as I get older certain teams I think as decent franchises cause in the 70's the Pirates were good with Stargell, Parker etc and won in 79, and in the late 80's they had Bonds, Van Slyke etc in the early years and made the playoffs so I kinda overlook the last almost 20 years.The Indians didn't make the playoffs til I was like 30 so even though they have been half decent now for 17 years I still think they suck.
Even KC was a fun team to watch and very good from about 75-89 or so. Beat the Jays in 85 - that hurt at the time a lot before 93-93 made it better.

They are a 5-10 minute walk from Union Station. Though that's a marathon for me, to normal people it's only about 5 - 10 minutes.
Pete, they've been borderline average for how long now? And looking at this year's record things have been the same. Yes they've had lots of injuries but their pitching has been embarassing to say the least, especially when the apparent pitching ace has lost 13 straight.

There are many pretentious douchebags of suburbian families in Brampton, Mississauga, and Oakville who wouldn't be caught dead on mass transit and would have to have a place to park thier precious Bimmers.
