I don't like the steaks, because of the bones.

How do you prepare your walleye?

- pete26

they're not that bad in a salmon.

I like walleye shore lunch style. just pan fried with a little bit of flour and potatoes, onions and shrooms.

when we're at the lake we'll bring some of these pre-mixed batters like fish crisp but it's only to have a bit of a different flavor since we pretty much eat walleye every day twice a day on a good trip.

the ones I bring back home are usually just flour and a bit of oil in a pan

I don't like fish unless...get this, it's deep fried. Big (frank)ing surprise. But I would eat the poop out of any other seafood. (frank) I wish I was in NB right now.

Scallops first and foremost. Crabs second. Shrimp third. Lobster fourth. I don't see what all the hoopla is about lobster, it's good...but it's not scallops.

They are good sauteed in red wine and butter - turn them over a lot until they look like this.

wow I feel the same way. Scallops are #1. I prefer lobster in casserole or bisque. Have a recipe for seafood casserole with lobster, scallops, shrimp and haddock. Served it with rice.

I have to go to a shop in the city next to Hamilton, Burlington. Not far, but they aren't fresh from the shell. They're frozen on site where they are caught. But still (frank)ing amazing. I usually get the "large" sized ones. 3 or 4 per meal, I think I get about 12 - 16 or so per bag. I think that runs me 18.99. It's a treat for me that's for sure. What's stuff cost out there for you?

I use this one on Walleye and Pike, also with Haddock, it's fool proof:

Dip the fish in 3/4 beaten egg and 1/4 cream in a bowl, then roll in Corn Flake crumbs that has salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder mixed in.

Place the battered fish into about 2 inches of piping hot Crisco.

Squeeze some lemon on when when its on your plate, tartar sauce also, if you like.

Anyone I know that has tried this recipe, has never had any leftovers...
