Thank you. This is a good answer. I don't necessarily agree, but I understand.

Did you find those training wheels?
- Symba007

I did, turns out Canadian Tire and one kit with one type of bracket and one kit with two types including the one I needed.

the 16 year old kid didn't seem very interested in pointing this out to me so I had to go through each pack since they are in the same packaging and in the same bin

Good call

I'm just glad we live in European and North American nations that have always been free, fair, and democratic, and have reached that point bloodlessly.

you see, it's really a matter of point of view. where you see them fighting for freedom from an oppressor I see them fighting for the right to be the oppressor.

the people who will take over from these so-called tyrant will not be better. I think we fool ourselves if we think our western standards of freedom and democracy are the same for the rest of the world.

Not long ago, the church was very much at the heart of everything here in Quebec. Be it politics or how to live our everyday lives.

as repulsive as it seems to you marty, religion is still very much a part of your every day life. the western world's laws and constitution are by their very origin religious in that they are based on judeo-christian ideals.

the Muslim world is based on a very different set of values that you can't expect to change. in a way they are hard-wired very differently.
the society you live in now is still very much inspired by that clerical rule, just a completely different one.
