Have I been mispronouncing breakfast this whole time?

Seems likely

At one point in my life I considered breakfast to be the first meal eaten, but I get up so damn early that anything after 8 just seems silly. Ok maybe 9, but still 11am is not breakfast unless you're a sloth like crimmy.
- shvingter88

Time shouldn't matter though, typically you'll still have a lunch and dinner later no matter how late your breakfast is(unless you're one of those brunch freaks).

So what if you eat when you first wake up and skip eating lunch but then have dinner, is that lunch instead of dinner?

Those people fit into the "freaks" category. Assuming we're only talking about grown men here.

Technically it's just skipping lunch and eating dinner as you stated or as those people call it "linner"

I get the whole break fast thing but everything else is a little gray, I need definitive answers.

I'm just speculating and giving my own views of course. It's still very much up in the air. I think we can all agree that any grown man wanting to skip meals on purpose should be dealt with harshly.

That's just silly. Breakfast is from when you wake up to 11:59. Lunch is from 12:00-4:00 Dinner is from when you get home and eat a meal. If you don't eat breakfast and eat a meal at 12:00 then you skipped breakfast and are now eating lunch.

My recommended lunch hour is 11:30-12:30. I sometimes eat at 11.

I eat breakfast at 5 or 5:30 depending on when I plan on going into work, so waiting to eat at 11:30 can be tough if I have a light breakfast. Dinner is always 5:30ish
