Used to go there for brunch. I haven't been there in literally 10 years though, so I have no idea who runs it and what chefs work there. I just remember their Challah french toast being good.

anyway,
was getting something looked at on the KIA and went across the parking lot to a little bagel place while i waited. ordered a bacon egg and cheese bagel and a coffee. they asked me if it was for there or to go. i looked around and sure enough there were tables and a counter you could sit at.

i sat at the counter and looked at all the football and hockey pictures on the wall and then a lady brought me my sandwich and there were some tot-like fried potatoes on the dish too. i didn't even know about the potatoes.

what a magical place. it was just a little bagel place in a strip store from the outside.

also, the KIA was fine and they didn't even charge me for looking at it.

what a morning.

anyway,

Congrats. We have a few small places we venture too that nobody thinks of . we end up with the same response. Never underestimate them no matter how small and out of the way they are.

i was starving and knew i also needed coffee badly. this place was just a window and a door with the words "westmont bagel" above it. didn't look like much. but inside was a bustling shop full of young couples eating and having coffee or orange juice all conversating or reading their tablets and stuff. it was clean and the food was really good.

and right now i'm at the laundromat and this girl totally wants me inside her. she stopped and asked me about my car and told me how good i look in it and stuff. what a day. what a country.
