you have to be careful when picking...

they can be delicious or waaaay oversweetened.

this is my go-to strawberry jam:



it is delicious but the same company makes a cherry jam that is so sugary as to be almost completely inedible.


so I opt for this one which is much more subtle:







both make an excellent marmalade.




each year one of my aunts sends over jars of homemade strawberry and fig jams and they are far superior to all.

i dont usually have it in stock as i really have only ever used it for pb&j sandwiches and toast.

It's really good with cream cheese.
