I had three fired eggs with toast and coffee



also, here is a tale of breakfast karma:


wife and I are minor league coffee snobs and we always chide my folks for drinking maxwell house.

yesterday we woke up, opened the coffee tin and goddamn if it wasn't empty, with all stores closed for new years.

when we went for dinner at my parents' I had to ask my mom for some maxwell house in a ziploc to hold us for today's breakfast until I can hit the store. it's never tasted better. turns out desperation is great in coffee.

also, when we left my parents' with both kids in toe we actually forgot the little ziploc. my aunt drove all the way here to drop it off.

Bless these two women.
