It would make sense that he does.

Either that or he'd rather go to jail than get killed?

It's most likely the same scenario at every level.

Do you know if he's got some kind of a deal with the authorities for his testimonial?
like, no jail or whatever?

He can't be accused on what he says (or have done concerning what he says). Same for any other witness.

He can be accused if he lies (which could be proved later on). So yes, he's probably telling the truth...

The info he gives can be used to accuse other people.

RDS should just broadcast bulldogs games.

I'd watch that.

- Scabeh

Here's the problem: AHL arenas do not have great set-ups for broadcasting games.

They broadcast Marlies games, but they are very, very difficult to watch. The Ricoh Centre is practically pitch-black.

I wonder at what point they will start to look elsewhere for some hockey. Maybe they already are, but so far TVA Sports are trumping them with junior hockey and it's not gonna get better if Sporsnet acquire AHL rights to show some games...

Same here, but gotta say the Bulldogs will be intriguing this year.

Hope they move in Laval soon

i think we all just need to get a grip and really not give a poop. they'll settle when they settle, whether that's in a month, a year, whatever. pretty sure we'll live without hockey.

What's the problem?

The NBA season is about to start.

I can't wait!

Go Raptors!

I can't wait to watch them box out the somethingorother, and drive the paint....dropping trays (!?! are they in a cafeteria - I don't understand) and hitting arks (Noah?) from downtown.

As you can tell, I'm a huge basketball fan.

I sure hope Vince Carter can get a triple triple this year. That would be awesome.

I'd rather watch soccer and golf at the same time than basketball. It's like hockey without goalies. The last one to shoot wins!

I would love to actually do a statistical analysis of the last 10 years of basketball, to determine just how much a lead in a basketball game actually matters to the final outcome.

Something like this:

End of 1st quarter, what percent of teams with a 1 point lead end up winning the game? 2 pts? 3 pts? 4 pts? 5 pts? Do it all the way up to 10+.

And then do it for end of half, end of 3rd quarter, 5 minutes left in game, 2 minutes left in game.

I'll bet that statistically, a lead of 5 points or less at halftime has almost no outcome on the final score.
