LOL...I don't mind the slang. I don't know why I put quotes around the word.

I have about a dozen ties in my closet. I do not recall the last time I wore one. But I have at least two weddings to attend in 2013, so I suspect I'll have to dust them off.

i'm the opposite. i don't have to wear a tie but i do sometimes. it just completes an outfit and changes things up now and then. plus im kinda g*y.
