Anyone else see the irony of two Frenchies going to Germany to play hockey?
- MBFlyerfan
Not at all.. because they're Canadian! You know, the ones that kicked the butts of the Germans and also the Yanks in 1812.. |

How cute, Claudia and Dannielle get to hold hands when they steal German hockey jobs.
Wish I could hate them over here.

Bill. I know we discussed this before without discovering the answer. But do you know what happened to Don Luce? He is still on the Front Office roster on the website at Director of Player Development, but Lappy was named to that position over the summer. Just wondering. - bodiva88
I'm not at all positive. But Luce is Director of Player Development. Lapperiere was hired as Director of Player Personell. Which was a position held previously by Dave Brown if I'm not mistaken. |

That's why I said I'm not sure. I heard his title labeled differently in other news sites.

I think it's a pretty safe bet that the Flyers aren't going to hire a former player that has zero experience for a high level position that Luce held, or holds. Dave Brown held the position of Director of Player Personell. So that seems more likely to me. Again, I'm not sure. I'm just trying to figure it out. |

Now that they have cancelled the beginning of the reg season, I am focusing on my Bears.. The longer it goes, the less I care.. I just get tired of seeing the updates... we're not talking etc.. if you are going to cancel the season, do it already so I can stop seeing headlines about bettman daly and fehr. |

I feel the same way about the election. If they took all the money they spend on the election and apply it usefully they could fix most of the countries issues in about 2 elections.

4 billion dollars (about what is spent over two elections)is about .0044% of just the 2013 deficit. So, no, it wouldn't even make a dent.
