I don't feel like paying 6K of trainers salary from my pocket.

Fehr's got a point about the impact to all players salaries...reducing from 57 to 50 represents $231M less...so if my math is correct, it's going from about $1.88 B to $1.65B...why won't the league maintain salaries at $1.88 until this is 50% of revenues and then going forward keep it at 50%???

Also, they are still talking about redefining HRR and having the players take on the burden of revenue sharing for struggling franchises...How are struggling franchises the players' responsibility?

How about because top players won't sign contracts with struggling franchises? How many top-tier UFAs do you think are chomping at the bit to play in Columbus? Long Island? How about Phoenix? Big name players want nothing to do with small town franchises (or franchises that play to near-empty arenas), yet they are all up-in-arms about how more needs to be done to ensure the health of those same franchises that they wouldn't touch with a barge pole?
