Luckily I have the Giants and Yankees (not of late) to offset the frustration of being an Islander fan.

However, the Islanders are my #1 priority by leaps and bounds over them. I'd trade the combined 9 other championships that I've been alive for (technically speaking, I was too young to even know about the Giants first 2 SB wins) for 1 Isles Stanley Cup.

By "that one" Butchie could also mean every shot that is on goal. I hope that when the lockout is over, RDP and his wife decide that they've fallen in love with Germany and never come back, or at least not until RDP's contract expires.

He is to busy in Germany getting killed by the worse team ever to play there. I cant wait to see him play with us this year. I really do hope that if someone out plays during the short preseason that he will not be on the roster

I just hope that if they come to an agreement, the NHL doesn't start for another couple of weeks- I want ample time allowed for him to suffer a season ending injury before they come back.

So, whose fault was it, pre-trapezoid, when DiPietro used to go into the corner and pass the puck to Brian Leetch at the point, so he could shoot the puck into the open net? Whose fault was it on opening day a couple of years ago, when a shot from the point nearly hit him in the back of the head, because he was facing the rear glass, instead of the shooter? There's an obvious pattern here- Nielsen can't be expected to fix stupid....he's not that good.....LOL...
