I have tickets now to see Neil Young, Dave Mathews and this Saturday seeing Bruce Springsteen. This is no small sum and will not be spent on hockey tickets. Players and owners take note and get back to the bargining table. Come December I will plan the activities for the first three months of the year and if you aren't back to playing hockey you can kiss that money goodbye too. - powerhouse

Have you ever been to Italy before? Its awesome. I went there on my honeymoon in 2008. I am very jealous. If I may make a suggestion, try to go to Capri, it was probably my favorite part of our whole trip. Postiano is probably similar but there is something about being on an island that is just great with Vesuvius lurking in the backdrop.
Shoot me your email if you have any random questions. |

So...
Any of you PA residents hear about this little girl that was shot at the halloween party (dressed as a skunk) by her relative because he thought it was an actual skunk?
Tell me that was in Philly. |

Very cool Gunner.
That part of the trip is for scenery. I'm actually more excited for Turkey just because of the partying that awaits.
I just can't get too excited right now because all i can think of is the god awful plane rides just to get there. |

Nope, I read it was in New Sewickly. My parents have a house right outside state gamelands just north of Pittsburgh. Some of the ppl that frequent the area are very interesting to say the least. They had a bernese mountain dog and someoen took a shot at it on their property. Im sure alcohol was involved but its amazing that some will kill just about anything for poops and giggles. |

I hear ya. I went to Germany and Austria for our honeymoon. Oktoberfest was amazing but the 10.5 hr flight was terrible. I always wanted to travel everywhere, but after that trip I scratched a few places off my list and added a few more US locals. |

I took prescription pain drugs on my flight, I didn't care at all at that point haha. I think the long flight is worth it for Europe, it's so unique and great. |

Europe is awesome, its not cheap but I would do our trip over a 1000 times. I was just exhausted by it. Its also awesome to visit large cities where its safe to be out everywhere, they are aestiticaly pleasing, public transport is safe and reliable. We visited 2 big cities and 2 smaller ones in 12 days. So easy to get around. IWe saw the Redbull HQ in Salzburg Austria. Unbelievable building and location. The whole area is a post card. Italy is the next Euro spot I want to visit. Wife wants to go to France, she can go with her sister or mom. |

That makes it less funny. The story in the paper here said she was shot in the shoulder and was stable. It also said alcohol wasn't a factor......right. |

Where were you in Germany? The VW factory tour in Wolfsburg is great. I had no idea how many makes of car were actually made by Volkswagon. The Bentley portion of the factory was unreal. |

Yeah I remember there was a dude with a Flyer t shirt on my flight to Munich, we were bullpoopting about trading Richards and Carter next to the bathroom near the bulkhead. After about 5 mins, the flight attendant in a female dogy voice said no loitering in the cabin. All I wanted to do was stand up for a while.
Another point, we flew from Vienna back to Munich when we left on Air Austria. The flight attendante all looked like models. Tall, skinny, hot blonde. Flew Delta back to Hotlanta, they could barely fit between the seats. One even knocked my water over with her butt. |

We went to Fussen, which is a small Medeivel town at the base of the German Alps. Neuschestein Castle is there. It looks like Disney Land. Really cool town. Saw a kid in a Polamau jersey there. Then we went ot Munich for Oktoberfest for a few nights. The BMW factory is there, and I heard its a really cool tour, but didnt have time. If in Munich the original Hofbrauhaus is a must do. They have one in the south side, but the original still has burn marks on the ceiling from WW2, and you can see where the Nazis painted over the Bavarian flag with swasticas. Munich was ok. But then we went to Salzburg, got to see Hitlers house. If you've seen Band of Brothers you know what Im talking about. Then off to Vienna. Austria was pretty amazing, and there was a lot more to do that you could do on several trips. Salzburg was probaly our favorite stop. |

We didn't get a single flake. It has been cold enough to snow, but we haven't had anything of substance yet. |

That's pretty crazy. Usually you get it worse. |
