I dont like any Lu deal that includes MPS.
The Oil are not giving up Moroz either.
I think Van fans are delusional if they think any team is giving up a first rounder this year. The draft is way too deep and if it goes the full season without a deal then there will be no draft. The year after that would have an absolutely insane draft class.
Only deal I do if I'm the Oil. Horcoff, Eager, Tuebert for Lu. Anything else far aff that I'm not interested. - Iggysbff
I think it is more dilusional to think that Gillis will help a division rival and take their trash off their hands too. |

He knows, i spoke with him last night. He said he had no intention of trading for Lu. He said, as far as he's aware, it's just journo's looking for hits that bring it up everyday.
Burke stated to me, his 3 main causes for concern, were his smell, dancing and contract length. - walshyleafsfan1
I can imagine Burkie trying to attract UFAs next year.
Burke : Hey Getz ,do uou want to come play for the Leafs this year.
Getzlaf :Cool .who would I be playing with
Burke: Kessel
Getzlaf: OK who is our top D guy
Burke: Phanuef
Getzlaf : Brian you are killing me . Who is our goalie
Burkie :Scrivens

Terrible deal for Toronto...
Edler might be a step up from Phaneuf, but Edler has only 1yr left on his deal, and Phaneuf is the Leafs captain...
Raymond is very quick, but is a marginal top6 guy...
Leafs give up 3 good prospects, their captain and a pick, to marginally upgrade a defenceman, get a top9 winger, and an aging goalie...
As for the Bozak & Reimer for Lu rumour...I say that is a good deal for both teams...Reimer would be a solid backup for Schneider and Bozak would slide into the 3rd line centre slot...Lu gives Leafs a legit shot playoffs - BoBBeR56
Most fans would be ok with this. Not giving up the farm and both sides fill holes. |

Yep. Have to admit, I'm stoked to see how good they can be. - Farva
They will finish last in our division them or Calgary . I think Calgaryhas better goaltending, defense and are tougher . Baerschi will be better than Hall.

100% on the backs of players drafted by, traded for, and signed by Nonis and Burke. And that's the truth. There isn't a single key player for the Nucks that was acquired by anyone other than those two. Not a single one. - prock
Hamhuis Garrison Samuelson Torres Ehrhoff Rome SOB Pinizotto to name a few .
Jensen Gaunce Mallet Lack Corrado

Burrows was discovered by Craig Heisinger—Canucks management simply was right to listen to him, and sign Burrows to a contract. |

What a joke - Ihatebrianburke
The Oilers have drafted a good first line and another potential 2 nd liner last year. They haven't done too much after that. When they pull out of the BSMT maybe others will believe more but they have had a reserved parking spot at number 5 in the division for years and years.
Not that far of a stretch to say they might finish there again. |

As Ian's devils advocate, he is being creative blogging about Shannons article that there is a deal for Luo once the cba is agreed upon. Although he has expanded from TO, and that is the creative part.
Also today's blog actually had good discussion back and forth, not like yesterday with a chosen handful of leaf fans with the canuck hate blocking any good thought process.
Glad to see micah step in today, tomorrow will be a sh!t tsunami. |

Ok, your point? He was still a player that failed to show up in games 3, 4, 6, 7 in the Stanley Cup Fails |

Thought you were in a debate about players that Burke/Nonis drafted, and I thought it was worth noting that Heisinger deserves the credit for Burrows.
Guess I was just too lazy to go back and see what you were actually arguing about. |
