A while back, there was a plugin for google chrome, that blocked any mention of the word Nickleback from your browser. It was called Nickleblock.

I've contacted them, to see if they can make up Luongoblock.

Not if the Leafs draft him.

We'll immediately call him the next Gretzky, and Leafs Nation will have him starting at 1st line centre by June 29th.

He then will not score on his first three shifts in his first pre-season game, and the pendulum will lurch violently to the "He Sucks!" side.

Steve Simmons will then write a column on how MLSEL should have seen the warning signs and not drafted him.

And then Damien Cox will lament how Canadian minor hockey ruined this kid by teaching systems instead of just letting kids play.

Howard Berger will then pen a column on Berger Bytes (read by no one) blaming Leafs fans.

And then MLSEL will raise the price of sushi.

I feel sorry for the kid.

I really do.

Nailed it. Thanks for this...

but you got one thing a little wrong ....
He then will not score on his first three shifts in his first pre-season game, and the pendulum will lurch violently to the "He Sucks!" side.

this needs to be refined a little...
He will not be seen skating earlier enough in July getting ready for camp because he's in Thunder Bay or Timmins celebrating his parents 25th anniversary and therefore have questions raised by Berger about his commitment. Others will follow indicating they heard from a friend of the coke delivery guy that he's been seen eating chips and boating and that he feels entitled. Then others will critique 10 or 15 30sec long youtube videos of him on the powerplay - and they will immediately comment on his lack of defensive awareness and how - like the pre-season skating - he's not taking responsibility for himself. He'll be a bust with a bad attitude before he gets to rookie camp.

Wait... wait... I think I saw him walking out of TIm Hortons with a box of TimBits... his BMI must be through the roorf!!!!

Learn from yesterday unless you drank too much gin and forgot 65% of what happened and hope you didn't whip your Richard out.

So... Ashton is good again?
- Dgrdnr

well - heck ya...

but he still not Scott Gomez or Louis LeWhite good....
how many years does a younger player have to spend in the minors before they are labeled as a bust if they are in the Habs organization?

Good question.

I'll go with more than 1?

And Leblanc ended up playing about 25-30 games with the Habs on the third line. A role he will probably end up having during his career... needs to get bigger though.

How many minutes per game did Eller play last season? And where did the Habs finish in the standings?

It wasn't a "good" question - it was an "excellent" question.

Now perhaps try answering it.

and ...oh yeah... you can't have different answers for players with or without francophone names.

I don't know.... around 15 min? With no powerplay time.

And 15th in the east.

I'm getting good at this whole trivia thing!

I already answered I believe. More than one year. Really depends on the player.

Why would my answer be different if he's francophone or not?
