But yeah, he MAY be expendable..... Problem is Buck sucked royally last year and is making tons of $$ and D'Anaud is a ?. Is he ready now to contribute on a winning team or not?? He's never had a major league at bat so to rely on him as #1 is a huge gamble especially after making all these moves.

Also they claimed another backup catcher earlier this week, so now they have 3 guys not including they young guy.

The rumors were that they may try to package JP to shore up LF, but that is no longer an issue. I heard they may be after Marcum for more pitching depth.

There were rumours a long time ago about Marcum being brought back...Shaun even said once in an interview he would be very happy as a Blue Jay again. Safe to say this past week would make that even more so. Though, the jays would have to find a place for Happ and/or Romero if that happens. Happ has been good as a middle reliever though.

That's gotta be NBC talking. Have to think the broadcast boys who own the Leafs are thinking the same way.
