Imagine if they actually had a scholarship program like the schools in the states? Maybe it would generate some interest in it other than 1 day right before the Grey Cup. Way too many generic french guys "excelling" on the team going up against Bob Smith from Brantford and Sean Smith from Hagersville.

I am correct in saying Canadian scholarships are different correct? No full ones I think. And it's more about learning and being good in school. Which isn't bad, just really narrows the field of kids.

I believe so. Well also different in the sense that the cost to go to a Canadian university is only a fraction of going to a D1 school in the States, but yes there is more of a focus on education.
