Rouyn-Noranda is a poophole, but Tourigny (who coaches for Team Canada at the WJC) is a good friend with Roy and they are usually fair trade partners, they don't hesitate to help each other out.

I'm pretty sure Tourigny wouldn't have traded for Kucherov if he knew he wouldn't come, and I don't think Roy would've traded him Kucherov if that was the case.

Kucherov has yet to comment on twitter though, so it could be it.

Older guys really don't want to see this season get cancelled, same with many 3rd/4th line guy and 5-6th D's. Something like 150 guys lost their job during the last lockout.
