Speaking of Janikowski...is he panning out like the Flames hoped he would, there was alot of questioning about his early selection.

They're playing on the big Ufa ice this year, so the coaching staff better not send a top-6, bottom-6 type of team. They won't be able to compete if that's the case.

Pretty early to tell, he's doing ok so far in the NCAA.

But he had one really good game which totally justified that pick.

Love Ryan Pulock but not sure he will make it this year. Not too many D make it in there draft year. Although he would be great on the Power Play. Kid has a rocket.

No mention of Charles Hudon or Zach Fucale? I also cannot fathom why Ryan Murphy would be ommitted, he was the best defenseman and anchored the PP in the 2 Halifax games of the Canada Russia Anniversary series.

I mentioned Hudon.

Fucale I left off in the goalie one because there's pretty much no way a 17 year old gets picked by TC especially since Subban and Binnington are outplaying him at this point.

Murphy hasn't had the best of years so far, he's in the mix but is being outplayed by some of the other offense first defensemen.

Fair enough, I just missed Hudon is all. I still think he will go before Carrier and maybe JD. Just can't see them doing 3 17 year olds.

I hadn't heard much on Murphy since the season began so I guess that doesn't surprise me. He was stellar in those two games in August though.

I'm sure HC would probably pick Murphy over Pulock, I just wish they would put such a beast

Poor little Hudon. I feel like he would have been likely to make it if that concussion hadn't thrown off his season. You never know, if the lockout ends maybe he'll be playing.

Settle down, choclair.

I like the picks, could use a few more snipers though, some of these guys are point getters because they play a ton of minutes in the most scoring friendly situations for bad teams.

Stefan Noeson should have been mentioned as well, the guy is carrying that low-talent whalers team while Wilson is hurt.
