If you're going to make a sacrifice, you'd be pissing off who ever it is you're sacrificing it too if you go cheap on it. Really show them you're devout |

Paul @DaPeanutShackTSN
Expect the @NHL to announce whether season is on or done. Recent news out of meeting from a source says "not looking good"
Do or die tonight according to my source - Symba007
This seems fishy. I think someone is spinning this so that they can build up some sort of frenzy in the media. Why the urgency to announce tonight or even say do or die tonight? Based on the last partial season, they still have a month to get something done(theoretically).
Why would they cancel the season tonight if they've supposedly had so much positivity in the last couple of days. They've had plenty of reason to do it before now with little to no progress at all, I think this is purely subterfuge. |

There is still time before they reach a deadline for the Season to be cancelled. They could go another month. But I hope not.

Am told by 2 NHL sources that #Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs forced employees to pay tax on 2011 Stanley Cup rings. About $7K per ring. Cont...

Some support staff couldn't afford the tax up front, so players stepped up and covered the cost so they could get rings too.

Could be but I doubt it. They didnt cancel the 04-05 season until Feb 16th....I'd think Jan 1 is probably a realistic drop dead date...only a guess though |

The NHL network here in the US is showing a CHL game (QMJHL I think). I'm also listening to 630 CHED out of Edmonton and they've said they'll cut over live to anything being said once they find the milk crate for Bettman. |

If there is ANY truth to this, then someone really should take care of Jacobs in an inappropriate manner. That's disgusting. |
